Group of happy people looking up at a ceiling full of amazing glow in the dark stars.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q:  Will this alter my ceiling and/or walls in any way?

A:  No, our specially blended paint is a soft shade of white that
blends in perfectly with light colored ceilings and walls. You only
see the results of the masterpiece in the dark. “Wow!”

Q:  Do I need to do anything before you arrive?

A:  Yes, it is helpful to get all objects off the floor and obstacles
that could be tripped over out of the way.

Q:  How long with it take to complete?

A:  Depending on the room size and the height of the ceiling, it
generally takes between three to six hours from start to finish.

Q:  What is the maximum height ceiling Starscaping will do?

A:  For safety reasons we do not go higher that a maximum of 10 foot ceiling.

Q:  How many stars will there be?

A:  There are too many to count, however depending on the amount of space the stars are placed, there are from tens of thousands to a hundred thousand stars. That should be enough. :) We can do lighter amounts or really load it up, you decide.

Q:  What should I expect to experience with my Starscaping
starry night ceiling?

A:  Once your eyes get use to the dark you will start to see the stars appear, brighter and brighter. Soon you will be awed by a myriad of stars and a few shooting stars, just like the night sky on top of a mountain.

Q:  What do I do for the best glow at night?

A:  If possible, leave the curtains open in the room during the day
so sunlight can charge the ceiling and walls. It does not have to
be direct. If sunlight is not possible, turn on the overhead light or
a lamp for a little while before bed. And if you want a quick,
strong charge, have a UV blacklight that you can shine on the
ceiling for a minute. It really does not take much to get
the stars charged, but the more light you give them, the better
the results will be.

Q:  How long with the stars glow for at night?

A:  Your star scene will glow all night, however the brightest glow
is in the first few hours. The light will become softer, but the stars do glow all night.

Q:  Do I have to maintain the ceiling or walls or redo them every
couple of years.

A:  No, once your Starscaping scene(s) are done, you do not have
to do anything, but sit back and enjoy. The paint and glow will
last for 20+ years. The only thing that can mess the masterpiece
up is if you paint over the stars. That happened to someone once when they forgot to tell the painter, not to do the ceiling. :(
